The doors Revival Jazz in Fort l’écluse

Jazz in Fort l'Ecluse is an unmissable festival for all lovers of jazz, soul and blues.

The Doors Revival have been in existence since 1997, devoting themselves exclusively to covers of Jim Morrison's famous band The Doors.
Quick to become masters of the genre, they were voted best Swiss cover band in the 2001 competition at the Ned in Montreux (which earned them 2 appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival), and since then, The Doors Revival have played most of Switzerland's venues and festivals, with a large number of shows (Ebullition, Usine à Gaz Nyon, Ned in Montreux, Bleu Lézard Lausanne, Sierre Blues Festival closing Status Quo, Caprices Festival, Breitling Sion Air Show, die Alte Kaserne, RighiBlick Théâtre and Zurifäscht in Zürich... )
Atypical and timeless, the Doors' tortured rock still strikes a chord in the hearts of several generations of music lovers, a testament to the quality of a style that audiences never seem to tire of.
Led by the charismatic Stéphane Beysard, with a voice strikingly reminiscent of Jim Morrison, The Doors Revival is made up of renowned musicians: Sam Amos on drums, Fred Vouilloz on guitar and Guillaume Buro on keyboards. Without seeking physical mimicry with the original band, The Doors Revival is dedicated to reproducing the special, unreal and spellbinding atmosphere that could emanate from a Doors concert.
The Doors Revival have captured the exact energy, the deceptively simple mechanics of the compositions of the Lizard King and his band: the way in which, with a silence, an intonation or a dissonance, they shift from order to chaos, from the pure to the dark, from reality to the strange. Seeing The Doors Revival live is a unique experience not to be missed.
