Matthieu Boré Quintet Jazz in Fort l’écluse

Jazz in Fort l'Ecluse is an unmissable festival for all lovers of jazz, soul and blues.

He's also known as the "French Crooner". Matthieu Boré, singer, pianist and composer, has democratized jazz, making it popular and affordable once again, while maintaining its high quality and generosity. Blending the worlds of jazz, rock and blues, he conjures up the great standards, but also displays all his songwriting talent with personal compositions. With a passion for New Orleans, Matthieu has developed a repertoire of original compositions and rhythm and blues standards based on great pianist-singers such as Ray Charles, Allen Toussaint and Professor Longhair. A resolutely cheerful, light-hearted repertoire, fabulous energy and a real sense of sharing with his audience.

Musicians: Matthieu Boré, vocals, piano; Mathias Luszpinski ("Mat Le Rouge"), tenor saxophone; Antoine Pozzo di Borgo, guitar; Gael Pétetin ("G.G. Kong"), drums; Antoine Prunel, electric bass guitar.
