The Party of the Bird is the oldest traditional party of Saint-Genis-Pouilly. For 4 days, the carnival is going full swing on the Square Jean Monnet and many shows accompanies it. A big procession of floral floats through the city takes place on Sundays.

Saturday June 1st:
From 2.30 pm, free entertainment on the Parvis Jean Monnet: Zumba by Zumba Movin - Roller party by Erage (roller rentals on site) - Dance demo by Dance Fever - Gospel “one voice choir”.

11.00 Commemorative ceremony followed by an aperitif hosted by Saint Genis Pouilly town hall Aperitif
15.00 departure of the corso fleuri, floats and music from the Lycée to Place Jean Monnet

Monday 3/06/2024
4 p.m. Registration for the king of bird shooting at the Lucien VEJUX stadium.
Please note that you must present your civil liability certificate to be authorized to shoot.
The winner is the one who drops the wooden bird.
17.00 Wren shooting competition open to boys aged 8 to 14 at the Lucien Vejux stadium.
