They offer a great way to get away from it all, with trails for both pedestrians and cyclists. These charming, shady rides are ideal for mountain bikers and mountain bike enthusiasts.

Focus on the greenway between Gex and Divonne-les-Bains

This cycle path, which is open every season, allows you to stroll around Divonne. You’ll be able to enjoy the lake and its activities, as well as getting to the start of the mountain bike trails on Mont Mourex.

The Monts Jura Bike Park: in search ofthrills and spills

For thrill-seekers and suspension enthusiasts, come and try out the Monts Jura Bike Park, the big new attraction for 2024!

The Monts Jura resort offers three sectors for downhill mountain biking, with more accessible trails on the Col de la Faucille and more challenging trails on the Lélex and Crozet slopes. From each summit, the view over the Lake Geneva basin and the Alps adds a contemplative dimension to the experience.

The ascent to the departures of each sector is by gondola on weekends in May and June until September and every day in July and August for the Faucille sector.

The Pays de Gex Pumptracks: the start for beginners

Younger skiers looking to learn and discover new things can visit the Pumptracks in Gex, Ornex and Prévessin-Moëns. It’s the ideal playground for experimenting with bumps, banked turns and other modules to give them a well-honed future! They’ll be able to improve their cycling skills while having fun.

Pumptracks are generally accessible to all levels of ability, from beginners to more experienced cyclists, promoting an inclusive and safe environment. As well as developing endurance and coordination, Pumptracks offer an excellent opportunity for young people to exercise outdoors. What’s more, these tracks can be used by other types of wheeled equipment, such as scooters and skateboards, increasing their appeal and versatility.

  • Helmet compulsory (with your head well protected, it’s a safe way to enjoy your adventure!)
