Where can you play golf in Pays de Gex?
Are you a golf fanatic who can’t imagine spending your holidays without hitting a ball? Don’t panic, you can treat yourself to a round of golf in the Pays de Gex and even take advantage of lessons or courses if you want to get started (or improve your skills!).
The Domaine de Divonne is an idyllic setting with views of Mont Blanc. Covering 65 hectares, this 18-hole course will allow you to put your skills and practice to the test. This incredibly technical course is one of France’s top 50 golf courses.
If you’re staying at Prévessin-Moëns, you can also get in some practice at the 18-hole Manchette golf course, while a 9-hole course awaits you at the Jiva Hill Golf Club in Crozet. The latter is open all year round, so you can enjoy it in summer and winter alike. And yes, there’s more to life than skiing!
Where can you play mini-golf in Pays de Gex?
Golf is clearly not your cup of tea. But you love mini-golf! Fun and much more accessible, mini-golf courses are the ideal way to spend a friendly, fun-filled moment with friends or family. Stimulating, mini-golf even helps to improve coordination between the senses and body movements, and encourages dexterity. Isn’t that great?
If you’d like to try out this activity during your stay in the Pays de Gex, head to the Monts Jura mini-golf course in Mijoux. In the heart of the forest, you can play a 12-hole round in around 2 hours. Once you’ve finished your round, don’t leave too quickly! Take the time to try out the tree climbing course.
