The Monts Jura offers the ideal altitude for hiking between 900 and 1723 m. There are marked and maintained trails waiting for you.
From Lélex, the La Catheline gondola provides access to the crests of the Haute Chaîne du Jura, lifting you from 900m to 1450m above sea level.
Once up there, it’s just a 1h30 hike to Crêt de la Neige (1723m), the highest point in the Jura.
In summer, the two gondolas at Lélex and Crozet are also equipped for downhill mountain biking. They enable mountain bikers to get back up the mountain quickly and easily, so they can make the most of the descent on both sides of the mountain!
On this side, two technical trails (1 red trail and 1 black trail) have been laid out and signposted for seasoned mountain bikers.
In winter, it gives snowshoers and downhill skiers easier access to the peaks, while offering skiers direct access to the slopes when the ski area is open.
The La Catheline gondola lift is located near the Haute Chaine du Jura National Nature Reserve, where special regulations apply. Please respect these rules. For further information, please visit the Nature Reserve website.
The gondola takes up to 6 people and doesn't accept electric bikes.
In the event of adverse weather conditions or technical incidents, the cable cars may be closed. We invite you to download the Monts Jura app for real-time information.
