Paragliding site of Petit Mont Rond
Take-off : South East orientation. You can use the MontRond road if you go back down with the vehicles straight after unloading, and if you belong to the Flying club of Gex.
Dangers : the take-off is very short.
The site is located in Geneva TMA, so the air traffic rules must be followed strictly. BIOTOP zone protection on Mijoux cliff and the Turet forest : no flying below 150 meters.
Landing : Gex – 640 meters.
Dangers : near the landing site : high-tension line and row of trees. You must fly over the high-tension line at an altitude of 200 meters minimum.
