Médiathèque George Sand
As a place to live, to access information and to create social links, the media library is now a place of culture in its own right. It has a space of 340 m² that is divided into two distinct sectors, youth and adults.
Aimed at everyone, it offers users a wide choice of books and documents to borrow. No less than 23,852 titles (books, magazines, audio CDs, DVDs, etc.) make up its documentary collection. Throughout the year, new items are regularly offered: authors to discover, books to enjoy, films to share, music to listen to… The media library provides 2 computer stations free of charge. Each subscriber benefits from a storage space of 20 Mb and access to a suite of free word processing software. Places equipped with power outlets are available to the public with free WIFI access for all. With a rich and varied program, the media library offers animations to promote the taste and pleasure of reading but also culture: stories, dance, theater, shows, workshops …
