This walk take you through the fields and around the farms on paths and roads that are not too busy. You will walk around the marsh and past the Fenières stream.
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
(1) Start from Chemin de l'Étang. Take the path leading to the marsh.
(2) Follow the Fenières stream, which is also fed by two springs originating directly from the wetland.
(3) Read the information panels installed by the Conservatoire d’Espaces Naturels (Conservatory of Natural Areas) on the role of the marsh: water retention, natural purification and flow regulation.
(4) Enjoy the calm, humid atmosphere, where the vegetation and landscapes change with the seasons.
(5) Return quietly to the starting point via the same path.

Description
The Fenières marsh is fed by the Fenières brook and two springs that come out of the wetland itself. The city has entrusted the management of the marsh to the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels (CEN).
The marsh plays an important role in the retention and purification of water. By storing and then progressively releasing water like a sponge, it regulates the water like a sponge, it regulates the flows and ensures a minimum water level
