This 1852 Jura farmhouse once housed a few cows. It immediately seemed an ideal location for our farm. The Menthières plateau is sparsely populated, but its vast natural meadows allow us to run our herd in the traditional way. Our farm is located at an altitude of 1000 meters, in Menthières, a hamlet in the commune of Chézery-Forens (Ain). Nestled in the last foothills of the Haut Jura mountain range, Menthières is a departure point for the Grande Traversée du Jura. From December to March, the family-friendly ski resort of Menthières will satisfy all skiers, from beginner to advanced, thanks to the variety of its runs.The first cheeses have been available to taste since March 2016! With the birth of the kids, the goats give their first liters of milk, which we process and refine on the farm. To satisfy all palates, we offer lactic cheeses (fresh to dry), sérac and goat's cheese tommettes matured in natural cellars.
