The association is in the heart of the Monts Jura resort with a structure completely designed for people with disabilities: direct access to the car park, lift, terrace for access to the slopes, heated room, amenities… and 20 volunteer guides.
Introducing people to the mountains and speed, sharing and experiencing unimaginable moments of excitement and joy: this is the association's mission today, to the great satisfaction of its members.
Whether you are a resident or a holidaymaker, a beginner, an experienced skier or a competitor, the association welcomes you in a friendly atmosphere, whatever your disability.
You can enjoy the resort’s winter activities (downhill skiing, cross-country skiing) and summer activities (hiking) to the full, with family or friends, supervised by trained volunteers and with specific equipment adapted to your type of disability for the activities.
The building is used to store and maintain all the equipment. It also provides a place for members to meet, get ready and warm up in case of bad weather.
In front of the building, there is an access area and parking spaces reserved for skiers who are members of the association.
This building, designed and financed by the Department, Pays de Gex Agglo and the Syndicat Mixte des Monts Jura (SMMJ), has been in operation since 2015.
The association now has a wide range of equipment maintained and serviced by volunteer members:
– 1 kartski,
– 5 dualskis,
– 2 tandemskis,
– equipment for accompanying blind people,
– accessories (helmets, over-gloves, protective covers, etc.)
– skis for pilots
– motorised joëlette (all-terrain wheelchair with a single wheel)
– freewheel (third wheel)
– volunteer guides
– 3 toilets
