Bermuda is a workshop project of research and fabrication in arts. Based on a collaborative model, Bermuda workshops offer equipped workshops (wood, metal, video…), workspaces and a cultural project open to the public.
Composed of individual and shared workspaces sheltered under a roof of about 1300m2, the building was designed by the ACTM workshop (architects Thomas Mouillon and Adrien Cuny) and self-built from 2018 to 2022 by the bermuda team (the artists Maxime Bondu, Guillaume Robert, Mathilde Chénin, the curator Bénédicte le Pimpec, the programmer Julien Griffit) who provided project management in connection with businesses and artisans. Inaugurated in 2022, the Bermuda workshops offer shared workspaces, workshops equipped with wood, metal, video and sound as well as a cultural program open to the general public.
bermuda is winner of the Silver Square in the category First Work 2021.
