The Brasserie Gessienne was born out of a career change and a passion and opened its doors in 2012. The owners, who are close to the land and very involved in local life, wanted to offer Gessiens a product that was close to them, friendly and authentic.
Short production circuits are favoured: some of the malt is grown in Challex at Domaine de Mucelle, and malted in Allonzier la Caille at Maltin'Pott. Spent grains are fed to pigs at Ferme de Noire Combe in Chézery.
