Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Start/finish – From the tennis courts, cross the road, then follow it to the right to reach the start of the track. Follow the Valserine southwards, past the sports course, leaving the housing estate and arriving at a large open area.

(1) At the intersection, continue straight ahead across this clearing towards La Platière.

(2) At La Platière, turn right (west) to cross the bridge.

(3) On the other side, turn left (south) and follow the right bank of the Valserine. Pass in front of the ‘Air France’ building, then go around the water treatment plant. Continue along the footpath on the left until you reach a crossroads.

(4) Keep left and follow the signposted track, enjoying the view over the valley. Continue as far as the Pont du Niaizet.

(5) The multi-activity trail ends here. The hiking trails continue, but you need to turn around at this point to go back to the crossroads before the Pont de la Platière.

(3) From here, continue along the Valserine to form a loop, almost as far as the Pont de la Fruitière.

(6) Return to the Pont de la Platière along the Route du Niaizet, then return to the original route. Turn right at the bridge.

(3) Cross the bridge again, this time in the opposite direction, to reach La Platière.

(2) From this point, an optional loop can be made to the south: turn right, follow the Valserine and then turn left to return to La Platière.

(2) Then continue straight on until you reach the starting crossroads.

(1) Turn right to go almost all the way up to the D991 road.

(7) Cross Chemin Mathy, pass under Les Loges, then head back down towards the tennis courts – the starting point.
