(1) From the start area at La Vattay, walk along the log fences to the control chalet.
(2) Then head towards the plateau, entering the forest on a wide track. After about 500 m, you will come to a more open area.
(3) Follow the purple markers. At the first junction, keep right, then right again at the second.
(4) Continue along the signposted route. When a fork indicates access to the Gelinotte, leave it on your right and continue to the left.
(5) Return along the edge of the Lécherolle chalet, before gradually returning to the Vattay site.

Description
All along the route, specific markings guide you along well-trodden paths, with little change in altitude, but a great feeling of escape. Pretty views of the Dôle, the emblematic summit of the Swiss Jura, reward walkers.
The route starts and finishes at the Domaine de la Vattay, where access is subject to a charge. As any itinerary crossing a protected natural area, it is essential to respect the regulations in force (no dogs allowed, stay on marked paths, no unnecessary noise, etc.).
