Located at 1436 m of altitude, in a rustic atmosphere and comfort, the refuge will fill you with nature, conviviality, meetings, gourmet recipes and regional products. It is guarded in winter and in summer.
Located in the middle of the ski area of Lélex-Crozet in winter, and in the middle of the mountain pastures in summer, on the GR9, at 1h30 from the Crêt de la Neige, at 15 mn by foot or by snowshoes from the arrival of the cable car of La Catheline.
The janitors, Cathy & Franck, welcome you for a one night stay or for a complete stay, or simply for a meal during the ascent of the Crêt de la Neige.
The refuge of La Loge is in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Haut-Jura and not far from the Nature Reserve of the Haute Chaîne du Jura. Some efforts are asked to the visitors: dogs are forbidden, even held in leash, the motor vehicles do not have access there, the flowers prefer to be admired in their freshness and not to be picked, the waste must be found in a dustbin and not in the nature...thank you for respecting these few rules.
When the refuge is full, the evening meal will be served in two courses.

The Refuge de la Loge has a 12-bed dormitory on the first floor (mattresses and blankets are at your disposal, please bring your own sleeping bag or sheets), washbasins and toilets supplied by rainwater and snow melt from the roof. Please note: the refuge does not have drinking water or showers. You can buy bottled water and other drinks on site. Catering is provided by the caretaker.
