What to do in the Jura as a family
Are you planning a family holiday in the Jura but can’t decide what to do in our beautiful region? Don’t panic! We’ve put together a small selection of activities to keep young and old busy during your stay.
To get your holiday off to a great start, head to the UCPA Vitam leisure centre, between Annecy and Geneva. With an aquatic area with slides and paddling pools, a climbing gym, mini-karting and a spa for adults, Vitam promises you an unforgettable day out with the whole family.
Are you a thrill-seeker who doesn’t want to get wet? Why not try tobogganing on rails instead? Pays de Gex has one of the longest toboggan runs on rails in Europe, at the Col de la Faucille.

Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or a nature walker, an animal lover or an art enthusiast, Pays de Gex has plenty of activities for all the family. In summer, you can enjoy long walks in the heart of nature, some of which take the form of themed, fun trails to turn a simple walk into a real playground.
You can also take advantage of the mild summer days to go on a cani-rando in the Jura with your family, or discover the magnificent landscapes of our region on a pony trek with Gaïa Loisirs.
