Nestled in the Crêt d'Eau massif, in the heart of the Haute Chaîne du Jura nature reserve.
Ideally situated for nature lovers and hikers on the GR, this rustic refuge offers an ideal setting for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts, with its panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and verdant landscapes as far as the eye can see.
Accessible from Menthières or the village of Le Ballon on the Valserhône side, Chalet du Bizot offers simple yet comfortable conditions for an authentic mountain stay. It can accommodate up to 12 people on a self-catering basis. Hikers will appreciate the fully-equipped kitchen for preparing their meals.
From December 15 to June 30, please respect the “wildlife quiet zones” between Menthières and Le Bizot, in accordance with current regulations. Camping is strictly forbidden on the Haute Chaîne du Jura; we are counting on you to preserve these areas by cleaning up after your visit and bringing back your garbage.
