A vaudeville by Marie-Ange Juenet, in which the history of the Resistance occasionally makes an appearance in an inn, a former refuge for resistance fighters.
This brand new play is set in 2024, a year of commemoration and tribute to the resistance fighters of the Second World War, in the village of Vassieux en Vercors, with a visit from the President of the Republic… A certain Cousine Bette is looking to sell her ‘Resistance’ inn on a life annuity basis. But she resists.
This play by Les Electrons Libres, directed by Christine Bleus, alternates between this tragic past and the present, with characters who are, as always, colourful.
A complimentary drink will be offered after the show and part of the proceeds will be donated to the Amicale des Anciens Combattants de Challex (Challex Veterans Association).
