Photo exhibition of forest workers (lumberjacks, sawyers and agents of the National Forestry Office (ONF)) around Bellegarde.
They live with the trees, following the rhythm of the seasons, in the intimacy of the forests.
Lumberjacks, sawyers, agents of the National Forestry Office (ONF)… these men – and sometimes women – are the living hands and memory of the woods that surround us.

This photo exhibition pays tribute to those who work in the shadows of the trees, in the dim light of the undergrowth, at bark level. They know every species, every crack, every breath of wind in the branches. Their work, often physical and always demanding, is also imbued with a keen understanding of the natural balance and a deep respect for life.
