The most fantastic astronomical event, organised in France and several countries in Europe and Africa, is returning to Fort l'Ecluse! See the stars like you've never seen them before.
This highly publicised event takes place on 9 August, close to the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. Young and old alike are invited to join the members of the Orion association and their telescopes on the magnificent terrace of the Fort for a stargazing session.
Stargazing and moon viewing with telescopes. Five observation points: Porte de France, Fausse Braie, Place d’Armes, terrace, Porte de Genève: from 9pm to midnight. Space is limited, so please do not bring your own telescope.
Refreshments/snacks available – Shuttle buses from Collonges
