Media library: La Baleine cycle – sound naps and creative whales

The Monday 07 July
Médiathèque Le Châtelard 23 rue de Meyrin 01210 Ferney-Voltaire
As part of its whale-themed series, the media library team has created several installations for you to discover.
Facilities available during the media library's opening hours, free of charge:

– Sound and wandering naps
– Podcasts available to listen to on deckchairs!
– Get a sneak preview of Florian Rochet-Bielle’s podcasts about the famous whale. At your own pace, settle into a deckchair and let yourself be carried away by these surprising stories! Poetic and surprising.

– The creative whale
Access the tools we provide to create your own whale. Cut, colour and draw. You too can dive into the belly of this mythical cetacean and draw the contours of your imagination inspired by it!

– The Whale cycle, what is it?
What if a whale were swimming beneath the surface of Lake Geneva?
Creative workshops, sound naps, readings: the team at the Le Châtelard media library is offering a complete cycle of events for the whole family from Saturday 5 July to Tuesday 14 October!

– Performance
The cycle will end on a high note on Tuesday 14 October at 8.30pm at the Le Châtelard theatre with the animated film Une Baleine dans le Léman (A Whale in Lake Geneva), presented as part of the cultural season.
