Hot Gravel Eight /// Jazz In Fort l'Écluse

"Hot Gravel Eight", is a Milanese band of eight top-class musicians led by Mauro L. Porro, multi-instrumentalist and recognized specialist of "hot jazz" in Italy. Their musical repertoire focuses on swing from the 1930s and early 1940s.

To immerse the audience in their musical repertoire, the group relies on precise musical transcriptions from the members’ personal collections. Thanks to arrangements and period instruments, and their impeccable stage presence, they bring to life the effervescence of the golden age of swing.
