Happy Apocalypse – Theater

Everywhere, people are talking about degrowth and the depletion of natural resources, yet humans have never been stronger, healthier, more productive, or more numerous. It’s as if humanity were growing at the expense of everything else. What if the trend were to reverse?
Happy Apocalypse plunges us into a wildly festive world with a psychedelic aesthetic, where the line between humans and animals blurs, and where the human body becomes the testing ground for all manner of experiments by a megalomaniacal science. Electro-pop music, burlesque, and astrophysics intersect here through whimsical and slightly mad characters.
Yet in this society that has lost its mind, Natacha—refusing to go along with this headlong rush—decides to embrace her own weakness and her mortality.
