On October 9, 10, and 11, Cessy will come alive with books, stories, drawing, and creativity.

Young and old alike are invited to enjoy a fun-filled weekend featuring a variety of activities, workshops, and gatherings.

Friday, October 9 – Opening
The festival will kick off with a writing workshop led by Dorothée Catoune, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., on the first floor of the Salle du Vidolet.
Workshop open to ages 15 and up.

Saturday, October 10
Fair open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

• 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.: Kamishibai readings and story mats for children ages 0–3
• 3:00 p.m.: Comic book workshop with Philippe Brocard featuring humorous characters
• 4:00–6:00 p.m.: Japanese bookmark-making with library volunteers

Sunday, October 11
Fair open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Japanese bookmark-making workshop
• 11:00 a.m.: Comic book workshop with Philippe Brocard on animals and objects
• 3:00 p.m.: Awards ceremony for the “Manga” drawing contest

All weekend long, enjoy the “Through the Power of Manga” exhibition, the interactive quest “The Storytelling Court,” the Japanese badge bar, a giant mural, and caricature and jaspage workshops.
