Karine Tissot – On the lookout for life
A graphic designer by profession, she has had a deep fascination for wildlife since childhood. With her camera in hand, she regularly roams the forests and mountains of the region, often at dawn, on the lookout for the slightest movement of an animal. Patient and discreet, she captures the intensity of a glance, the grace of a movement, the fragility of a moment. Along the way, she captures landscapes bathed in light, where a discreet, almost dreamlike poetry emerges. Her approach, marked by respect and sensitivity, reflects a desire to convey the importance of preserving this precious link with nature.
Cyrille Pillet – Between heaven and earth
An aeronautical engineer by training, Cyrille Pillet combines his passion for photography and flying to offer a unique perspective on landscapes. Equipped with drones and a camera, he criss-crosses mountains, lakes and forests in search of striking visual compositions, always with respect for nature and regulations. His shots, taken during early morning climbs or complex flights, reveal the striking beauty of our environment as seen from the sky. Based in the Pays de Gex since 2019, this lover of wide open spaces presents a selection of aerial photographs that showcase the diversity and splendour of the areas around us.
This exhibition is an invitation to look up at the sky and down into the undergrowth, to take the time to observe and feel. Between height and proximity, flight and silence, these photographs offer a dual perspective on local nature: vast and aerial, intimate and wild.
