Dominique Guinot Exhibition
The Friday 02 October
Mairie 45 rue de Béjoud 01210 Ornex
Through her exhibition “Malaria,” Ornésian photographer Dominique Guinot offers a deeply human perspective on malaria, a disease that continues to affect millions of people around the world every year.
Beyond the statistics and public health data, this exhibition puts a face on the disease. Through a series of portraits of women and children, it tells stories of people’s lives, their daily realities, and their resilience.
The photographs on display were taken between 2015 and 2025 as part of malaria control programs carried out in several West African countries.
For ten years, the photographer’s lens documented fieldwork and captured faces, expressions, and moments of everyday life. This exhibition invites visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the human impact of malaria and to learn about those who live with the disease on a daily basis.
The exhibition is open during city hall hours.
