The town of Ornex is organising, for the first time, a ceremony to mark National Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Deportation.
This official ceremony will feature speeches by the Mayor, the Youth Town Council and the President of the Ferney-Voltaire and Surrounding Areas Veterans’ Association.
A moment of reflection open to all, to honour the memory of those who served and to reaffirm the importance of the values of freedom and human dignity.
Following the ceremony, refreshments will be served.
