7pm–9pm: Concert by Robi V & Jarrett’s Trio

“Singer and guitarist Robi V is the frontman of the band Rockin’ Chihuahuas. He will perform famous covers as well as his own compositions, accompanied by his loop pedal.”
“Jarrett, Steve and Garth will perform a selection of their original compositions, mainly featuring drums, bass, guitar and vocals. Their sound draws on folk, blues and western influences.”

9pm–10.30pm: Concert “La musique de Li”, electric love pop (Besançon)

Li’s music is Alain Bashung and Jean-Louis Murat hidden beneath Daft Punk’s helmets… Poetic French electro? More like “electric love pop”. The message: live every moment in the present, the idea that we live through several lives, each to be seized with intensity.
A lover of blending genres and hybrid forms, Li has collaborated with American writers Dan Fante and David Vann, and adapted playwright Jean-Luc Lagarce’s “Journal” into songs.
Signed to Wagram in a previous life, his career as a musician has seen him perform at the biggest festivals, including Dour, Francofolies, Eurockéennes and Printemps de Bourges… Tapping into our deepest emotions, Li’s music reminds us of what is essential in live music: the space between the voice, the sounds and the audience’s expectant breath, an immersive experience where music and image interact in real time.
