Concert by Les Chantres de l'Ain

On the initiative of Gérard Humbert, its first conductor in 1991, the male choir ‘Les Chantres d'Ain’ was created in the Haut Bugey region in the department of Ain, where this type of ensemble was rather rare. There were 45 choristers. The quality of their performances led the choir to give numerous concerts, even sharing the stage with the French army choir.

Choral singing requires hard work, precision and rehearsals. But without the warmth of friendship that is the catalyst for Les Chantres d’Ain, our goals would not be achieved. The singers are like a family who, after their choral performance, celebrate the post-concert ‘third half’ in a spirit of conviviality.
