Cello Arte's Cello Duo invites you to enjoy a nuanced musical experience, combining complicity and virtuosity. A rich dialogue between two instruments based on a varied repertoire, for an intimate and captivating concert.
This concert celebrates the cello duet, a rare and demanding formation, brought to life here by two young talents: Maxime Quennesson and Antonin Musset: Maxime Quennesson and Antonin Musset.
In a programme ranging from the Baroque to the Romantic period, they explore the works of Francesco Geminiani, Jean-Baptiste Barrière, Jacques Offenbach and David Popper. A musical dialogue rich in contrasts, between virtuosity, expressiveness and complicity.
A unique moment, both intimate and intense, highlighting the full range of the cello’s sound, between depth and lightness.
