The Jiva Hill Golf Club in Crozet is a 9-hole course with 18 tee-offs, open and playable all year round. It is the first 9-hole course in France and Europe to feature tee-offs and synthetic turf greens.
Lying at the foot of the Jura for the first five holes, the course is tilted towards the Alps and the Eurolac for the last four holes. It is made up of 10 pars 3 and 8 pars 4. The total length is 3716 m for the 18 holes and 1851 m for the 9 holes.
This precursory course has been designed by the architect Dimitri Van Hauwaert.
Two tee-offs per hole will allow golfers to play the same green on two different axes with different difficulties mainly due to the placement of bunkers around the greens. Five positions of holes per green to vary from one week to another the the flags positioning.
The golf course opens all year round, in winter you will play tee-offs and greens of the same quality while the neighbouring courses are generally winter tee-offs and greens. Average size of the greens is 450 m².
The Jiva Hill Golf Club thus offers optimal playing conditions throughout the year with synthetic turf.
Access to the course: green card (or golf course permit) and licence are required. The etiquette (dress code) must be observed.
Golf lessons: private or group lessons / golf school / junior and adult courses.
Tips: The Jiva Hill Golf Club also has a practice area open all year round! Facing the Alps and Mont Blanc, the view is breathtaking! The 150m-long driving range has 8 stations, 4 of which are covered for rainy-weather play. What's more, there's a beautiful approach area with excellent set-back for working on short, medium and long approaches. The layout of the course allows you to work on all possible shots. Finally, from September to November and from April to June, the Jiva Hill Golf Club welcomes your children to its Golf School (with the FFGolf “Development” label), for beginners and advanced juniors, to give them the keys to progress and pass on the values of the sport!
Sustainable tourism: The Jiva Hill Golf Club offers year-round practice in optimal playing conditions thanks to its water-saving synthetic turf.
