Saint-Christophe Church

The church of St-Christophe and St-Jacques was built in 1760, in the Jura department, in the commune of Lajoux, but it is also the church of Mijoux in the Ain department, in the Rhône Alpes region.

The church of St-Christophe and St-Jacques was built in 1760, in the Jura department, in the commune of Lajoux, but it is also the church of Mijoux in the Ain department, in the Rhône Alpes region. One of the steeple's bells, "Marie Jacqueline", was cast in 1785 and classified as a Historic Monument. It was renovated by volunteers and parish priest Jean d'Aufferville in the early 2000s.
