The crêt de la neige and the discovery of protected areas

This hike allows you to spend the day in the sky, with remarkable views of Lake Geneva at your feet, the Alps on one side and the entire Jura massif on the other!
But that’s not the only attraction of this multi-faceted hike! This backbone sheds interesting geographical, geological and historical light.
What’s more, this incursion into the Haut Jura nature reserve will be an opportunity to observe a flora and fauna as varied as it is astonishing, and to learn about the various tools available to protect areas and species!

This hike can be organized as a day trip from Lélex for hikers with a minimum of training, or as a ½-day trip when the Catheline gondola is open!
