Guided tour ‘Balconies of Lake Geneva’

A beautiful French-Swiss walk on the edge of the Haute Chaîne du Jura Nature Reserve.
The route takes us out of the forest and along what is (incorrectly) known as the ‘plateau’, dominated by La Dôle and the various visible peaks: Crêt Pela, Mont Rond, Crêt de Chalam… finally reaching the ridge and its alpine panorama.

Elevation: 200 m
Travel: departure from the Greffière car park (D1005 towards La Faucille),
15 minutes from Les Rousses, no bus parking.

Entry into Swiss territory (ID required) during the hike.

Equipment: snowshoes and poles.
Equipment hire available: €5/adult.
