(1) The trailhead is located at the exit of the village of Mijoux, in the direction of Lélex. From this point, put on your snowshoes or cross-country skis, then take the trail on the left. Descend alongside the Mijoux school and continue to the bend where the trail changes direction.
(2) At this point, turn right to begin the return journey. The trail then follows the peaceful course of the Valserine river, offering enchanting surroundings.
(3) Continue climbing gently back up to the starting point.
