Film Screening and Discussion: “When I Was Little” — A Conversation with Sophie Loridon

The Tuesday 24 November at 14 a.m00

Cinéma Voltaire — grande salle 77 chemin de la Poterie 01210 Ferney-Voltaire

Come see “When I Was Little,” followed by a discussion with director Sophie Loridon. An intergenerational film screening and discussion open to everyone, as part of Social Ties Week.

What if cinema gave us the opportunity to connect in a different way, across generations?

As part of Social Ties Week, “Donnez vie à la vie” invites you to discover the documentary “Quand j’étais petite,” with director Sophie Loridon in attendance. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the audience about memories, passing on traditions, and what connects us.

This event is organized by Lorine Oria, a certified gerontology facilitator and founder of “Donnez vie à la vie.” It is part of an ongoing intergenerational project conducted with the École Ouverte de Saint-Genis-Pouilly and the Gex nursing home, focusing on means of communication and love songs.

Participants in this project will be invited to the session, as well as a broader audience from across the Pays de Gex region. Residents, families, seniors, professionals, and organizations: everyone is invited to share in this moment of discovery and dialogue.

An opportunity to listen to stories, exchange perspectives, and build connections, regardless of age.
