Theater – We, the Tiny Ones

What drives young women and men to commit themselves body and soul to a cause, to take action, to voice their dissent, to join the resistance, and to defend their ideals, while others—even when they feel concerned—remain passive?

*Nous les minuscules* gives a voice to those who have chosen to stand up. Coming from diverse backgrounds—from rural areas to city centers and working-class neighborhoods—they refuse to resign themselves to a state of the world that has been imposed upon them. What does it mean to take a stand today?
How can we turn outrage into a movement? How can we keep taking action without losing our capacity for hope? With both joy and gravity, humor and conviction, the show’s ten performers take the stage to share the personal roots of their rebellion, the struggles they’ve waged, and the doubts and fears that run through them.

With *Nous les minuscules*, the stage becomes a space for sharing and self-affirmation where young people tell their own stories, in all their complexity and vitality. Bodies, voices, and stories echo one another, and theater, dance, song, and poetry intertwine to create a generous work that carries hope.
