"Golden September" Evening

The City of Gex is once again getting involved in “Golden September,” a major campaign aimed at raising awareness about pediatric cancers.
This year, the event will take on an unprecedented national scale: numerous participating cities will simultaneously illuminate their landmarks in gold on September 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
In Gex, the evening will feature several highlights:
7:15 p.m.: Performance and entertainment by young members of local organizations
7:40 p.m.: Official speeches
8:00 p.m.: Illumination of the giant #GEX lettering structure and the event’s national anthem
8:05 p.m.: Complimentary drinks for all
The event will take place at Place du Jura (Pl. du Jura, 01170 GEX).
Please note: In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.
The Jura public underground parking garage is located right nearby (first two hours of parking are free).
Evening organized by the City and the UNIS collective.
