"Bruise & Bloom" Exhibition

Bruise & Bloom explores a world where nature and humanity converge in a shared process of transformation. Here, flowers are not merely decorative: they become symbols of emotion, memory, and healing. The works of Askin Asan and Deniz Akkus engage in a dialogue between gentleness and fragility, between presence and disappearance.

In Askin Asan’s work, flowers evoke peace, vitality, and the power of nature as a space for renewal. In Deniz Akkus’s work, human figures appear more fragile, sometimes blurred or suspended, conveying emotions, wounds, and what cannot be expressed in words.

Together, their artistic worlds reveal a shared language: that of color, which becomes a link between the body, memory, and healing.

Bruise & Bloom thus imagines a sensitive world where wounds and blossoming coexist, and where beauty also arises from fragility.
