"La France en Courant" Makes a Stop in Cessy

The town of Cessy is hosting a stage of the 37th edition of "La France en Courant" at the Espace du Vidolet. Come enjoy an afternoon of free activities and cheer on the runners in France's longest road relay race!
Founded in 1989, "La France en Courant" brings together teams of eight runners each year to cover nearly 2,600 kilometers across the country in an exceptional sporting and human adventure. For this 37th edition, the race will take place from July 18 to August 1, 2026.
An afternoon of activities for everyone. To mark this stage, a finish-line village will be set up at the Espace du Vidolet from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring many free activities: – Introductions to hands-on trades
– Bread-making demonstration
– Pipo the Clown
– Bouncy castles
– And many other activities for all ages.
The runners are expected to finish around 4:30 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 6:00 p.m.
