The Media Centre’s Film Club is joining forces with the 5 Continents Film Festival to mark its 20th anniversary, offering you a journey through the world of cinema to discover films from all corners of the globe.

Film of the month: The Leaves Have Fallen by Aki Kaurismäki.
For this screening, we present The Leaves Have Fallen, a bittersweet and minimalist romantic comedy, true to the Finnish filmmaker’s signature style. Through the meeting of two lonely souls, the film evokes with humour and melancholy the fragility of human connections, tenderness and hope at the heart of everyday life.
