Pépé Léon's farm

The Wednesday 25 March at 16 a.m00

Salle des fêtes 77 rue de l'horloge Place de l'Appétit 01170 Gex

On his fourth album, Réo blends childhood memories of life on the farm with heart-warming music. Accordion, violin, double bass, banjo and ukulele accompany mischievous animals on a musical journey brimming with nostalgia and freedom.

“Even as a little boy, I knew I’d be a musician,” Réo will tell you…

On this fourth album, the farm animals have turned up uninvited at Pépé Léon’s place. With his warm, harmonious voice, Réo has dared to include the diatonic accordion to make Biscotte and Galinette dance to the strings of Marc Vieillefon’s violin (Debussy Quartet). Some might find that rather bold… He, however, loves to tickle our sensibilities, playing with our memories – and his own – of his time with his grandparents on the farm. Close your eyes and take in the scents, the smells and the musical vibrations of the double bass, banjo and ukulele, which carry us along country lanes and into musical freedom.
