Un Jour Un Chœur is more than just a concept proposed by Bassey, it is a human adventure! What if, for one day, you became a member of a vibrant, powerful and ephemeral choir?
Create a choir in a day? Bassey Ebong's crazy challenge!
This is the daring challenge set by Bassey Ebong, an ‘out of the box’ artist, singer, choir director and passionate teacher. Inspired by gospel rhythms, African harmonies, jazz improvisations and classical rigour, Bassey invites you to enjoy a unique collective vocal experience.
No need to be a professional or even experienced: here, it’s the energy of the group, the joy of singing together and the magic of shared voices that matter most. In just a few hours, voices come together, bodies vibrate, emotions flow… and a choir is born.
On the programme:
– Vocal and physical warm-up to free the voice
– Learning polyphonic songs from here and elsewhere
– Work on listening, rhythm and harmony
And above all… the pleasure of singing together in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
