Why not take advantage of the first Sunday in January to enjoy the last few days of the exhibition “At Voltaire's Table”?
On the first Sunday in January, Voltaire's castle opens its doors free of charge to everyone, especially local residents! The aim of this day is to strengthen the link between the monument and its local area, offering everyone the opportunity to (re)discover this iconic site of national heritage and the spirit of the Enlightenment.
Residents of Les Ferneys and Les Gisses will also be able to enjoy the last day of the exhibition A la table de Voltaire (At Voltaire’s Table). By initiating this day dedicated to local residents, the monument is affirming its desire to play a full part in the cultural and civic life of the region, in keeping with the spirit of openness and dialogue cherished by its illustrious owner.
