Inauguration of the Market Square

Big news: starting on Friday, 12 December, the new square will host a weekly local market.
On the programme:
All-day market with around twenty stalls: fruit & vegetables, fishmonger, oysters, Indian caterer, rotisserie, artisan delicatessen, cookies, honey, jams, oils, jewellery, clothing, etc.
Musical entertainment
6pm: official opening
• Stilt walkers (departure at 5.30pm from the forecourt of the Jean Monnet Cultural Centre)
• Speech by the mayor
• Friendship drink
• Children’s entertainment from 4pm to 7pm (face painting & balloon sculptures)
• New parade
The timetable may be adjusted over the coming weeks to best suit everyone’s needs.
