From his childhood in Picardy to the dismantling of the Republican Empire, Nicolas Lambert invites us to leaf through a few missing pages of our national history. Absences, voids that we perhaps carry with us like burdensome family secrets.
Following the trilogy L’A-Démocratie, devoted to oil, nuclear power and armament, La France, Empire is part of the series Le Théâtre des Opérations. It seeks to understand how France goes to war.
